Posterior gluteal line of ilium, posterior surface of sacrum & coccyx

Sacrotuberous ligament & thoracolumbar fascia

Gluteal tuberosity of the femur and iliotibial band

Innervation

  • Inferior gluteal nerve (L4, L5, S1, S2)

  • Superior and inferior gluteal arteries
